Home Inspectors who are part of the InterNACHI network are now eligible for fire certification training through the National Institute of Fire and Safety Training (NIFAST). NIFAST offers a complete fire certification program that allows home inspectors to become fire safety certified upon successful completion of the NIFAST online course and test. This certification will add to a home inspector’s current book of business, and allow a home inspection to include a fire safety inspection…filling critical gaps in the current home inspection process.
NIFAST has partnered with the LiveSafe Foundation which is offering full scholarships to fund the program in order to allow two inspectors to become certified per state.
