The Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association, CSHEMA, provides information sharing opportunities, continuing education, and professional fellowship to people with environmental health and safety responsibilities in the education and research communities. CSHEMA leads by listening to its members, organizing their efforts, developing leadership that responds to the needs of the education and research communities, and striving for excellence in everything it does.

The Campus Safety Association, CSA, was founded in 1954 to address the unique safety challenges that are found on a college or university campus setting. From the highly technical—disposal of hazardous materials, proper handling of chemicals, general incineration of campus waste, and interpretation of federal regulations—to the most basic of human concerns—insuring a safe working environment for personnel and assuring safe fire exits from dormitories—colleges and universities increasingly rely on safety professionals.

The 2011 annual conference will be held in Minneapolis July 17–20. Registration is now open!
