Gordon College in Wenham, MA, has purchased the NIFAST Flashpoint fire safety course and test for roll-out in August 2010. The college plans to educate 650 freshmen and another 1500 on campus in total, as they roll-out the program.
“We want to educate our students in fire safety, and provide building specific fire safety information in accordance to where the students are living.”
Gordon is interested in the NIFAST program as it provides measurable information to the students, and allows them to effectively report information in their annual fire safety report in accordance to fire safety training policies.
Environmental safety and health director, Mr. John Soucy, believed in this program from the start, and wanted this implemented quickly, easily, and with mastery of the training provided by Flashpoint.
“I want my students to be fire safe”.
Gordon College, in Wenham, Massachusetts, is among the top Christian colleges in the nation and the only multidenominational Christian college in New England.
